TRADITIONAL BRACES AND INVISALIGN TEEN® FOR ADOLESCENTS IN FORT MCMURRAY

The most common age for orthodontic treatment occurs between 11-15 years of age, usually after all of your adult teeth have erupted. Having treatment initiated during this time allows your treatment to be the most effective and efficient, since your teeth’s supporting bone and gum tissues are still quite flexible, allowing your teeth to move much more rapidly.

At Fort McMurray Orthodontics, we provide both traditional braces and Invisalign Teen® for adolescents in Fort McMurray. Invisalign® is often referred to as invisible braces; they are actually clear aligners that are placed over the teeth to shift them into the desired position. A new aligner set is made about every 2 weeks.

Contact Dr. Koh at Fort McMurray Orthodontics and we can discuss whether traditional braces or invisible braces are right for your teen.
