Hayan and Hala A. – Actual Fort McMurray Orthodontics Patient

Fort McMurray Orthodontics offers early orthodontic treatments for children at our Fort McMurray office. The Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends that your child’s first visit to the orthodontist should be before the age of 7. This is approximately the age when your child’s first adult teeth appear in their mouths and your child begins to establish their bite for the rest of their lives. Issues with development of their jaws can also be detected at this time, and treatment to normalize jaw growth is much more effective during early growth phases. Although there are only a few instances where treatment is recommended at such an early age, having an orthodontic specialist monitor your child’s development on an annual basis can prevent much more severe and costly treatments later in their teenage years.
